The much anticipated new line from Iceland is finally here. Elm is an exciting label that uses beautiful and luxurious fabrics along with innovative and interesting designs. With cherry blossoms and daffodils everywhere it’s finally starting to feel like spring – even though the temperature isn’t. But that’s why we layer, and so many of the pieces in our recent deliveries are very conducive to layering – and some have arrived already layered! So shed the heavy coats and lighten up with chiffon tunics, jersey as thin as rice paper, crisp & light cotton dresses, and a variety of fabrics with a hint of shimmer. And we understand your fear of bright, dominating colors when you’re still feeling a little fair from winter, so we’ve brought in a good amount of fairly forgiving and neutral colors, and the peices that are more colorful are fresh without being overpowering. We think you’re going to like what we have for you with this season’s lineup of North American and European spring styles.

New Sustainable Line plus more Aventure and STQ

We are so excited to introduce a locally made and sustainable line to our Sisters: Elroy. The fabrics are organic, recycled and innovative blends that are the future of fashion, and the designs are pretty and feminine, not pyjama-like as so many “eco” lines are. The first few pieces have arrived, come look, feel and see for yourself.

We also recieved one more piece from Save The Queen – a beautifully light cotton dress that is just perfect for summer. And…more pieces from Aventures des Toiles, gorgeous, colorful and flattering. Lots to love!

The fabulous Lauren Vidal is back for the spring season along with the fantastically French Aventures des Toiles. And becuase we live in Vancouver and spring time can be a little, well, damp. So, alas, we must cover up or lovely new frocks with something waterproof. But don’t fear Sisters! We have some incredibly fun, bright and pretty Blaest raincoats from Norway to keep you dry and looking great. (and for the record, the raincoat also comes in black, it somehow eluded the photographer during this shoot!)

New Jewelry Line: Sancha

The newest line to hit the floor at the shop is Sancha Jewelry, an exquisite line of stones and metal ranging from rugged and raw to slick and polished. The silver pieces do not disappoint but there is a little something special offered here as well: copper. You don’t see a lot of copper jewelry and in this case it’s been very well done. There is a choice between polished and tarnished so something for everyone, including bangles and necklaces. The copper line is called Love Love and the best part of it is that proceeds for the sales are donated to Oxfam Canada in aid of the drought in East Africa. The water droplet shape of the charm serves as a reminder of this great need and good cause.
